Here's a short tutorial on Burning ISO to USB using Rufus
If you downloaded the Win 7 from the link SIW2 provided & downloaded the ei.cfg utility then you can proceed to alter the ei.cfg file. When you run the ei.cfg utility it will prompt you for the location of the ISO file. When you enter the appropriate info and run it, it either removes or alters that file. Either method works, in that is removes the constrains of a specific installation type, i.e., Basic, Home, Pro, Ultimate. It does not, however, permit you to install a different version than that which is already installed. You still have the 25 character product key that is associated with your win 7 edition.
Also, make sure you have your product key copied & in a safe place.
I provided a VB script post #3 that opens a window on your desktop with your product key. When the window appears, press CTRL + c to copy it to your clipboard. I usually paste that into notepad and print it.
If you require any additional explanation(s) please feel free to ask! There are no stupid questions!

Windows 7 operating system is still considered industries best. This can be imagined in such a way that some windows 7 lovers are downgrading their new computer from windows 8 to windows 7 ultimate. So if you want to optimize pc speed and get best performance then do install fresh windows 7 ultimate iso. Download Official Windows 7 ISO images from Microsoft: Few days back, a friend of mine Accidentally broke his original windows 7 Installation Disk and unfortunately he had not bothered to create a backup copy of his windows 7 Disk beforehand. So i had to lend him the Original copy of Windows 7 disk. However if something similar happens with you and you cannot source out a windows 7 disk from.
